Pay it Forward Project

The idea is to bring a small group of local people ( Bedouins ) to develop the community of Dahab.
And that this group step by step will collect and become the whole community of Dahab.

The Goal is to make Dahab become an example to the rest of Egypt being the cleanest and most Eco friendly city based on local community voluntary work  .
And above all give hope to the local young generations to come.

The idea is copied from the book "Pay it forward" by Catherine Ryan Hyde that was also filmed in 2000 with Kevin Spacy

Based on above story, we will train 8 local Bedouins from zero to Dive PADI Dive Masters.
It is a small start , but this project will help these Bedouins and secure them a job for the future , it will give them a different a new view about the sea and coral environment and how to protect it from damage.

What we request as a contract from these motivated young men is to contribute in the awareness and to development of Dahab in a voluntary basis.
Their is no physical contract, but we trust in their words as it is for the good of us all.

We hope that this group will become addicted to voluntary work and will continue also after the "contract" ends. And we hope that in the mean time they will have made a "brain washing" to the community in order that most, or at least lot of people are motivated to take action toward the development of Dahab.

The project is initiated by karim , who is also the instructor of this deamteam and co-owner of the Daniela hotels & diving .
We want to change the passivity that the previous regime of Egypt has inculcated in most of us and change to  to an active aware and helping social community.

We are ready to make Dahab the cleanest city of Egypt, are you ?
